Lynda Waldron has been volunteering with our campaign leadership for three years, and she has been a member of the Women’s Leadership Council for five years.  Lynda works for Henry Ford Allegiance Health as their gift shop supervisor.  When she’s not volunteering with United Way or working, she’s usually giving back to our community in other ways – such as her involvement with the Jackson County Rose Queen Pageant and Festival.  Lynda says she volunteers with United Way of Jackson County because it’s the right thing to do?

“I know so many people who have needed the services of United Way (funded programs), it only felt right to give back.”

Our vision is for Jackson County to be a community rich in opportunities to eliminate poverty and allow all people to be financially secure and successful. We’ve committed to help 5,000 Jackson County residents find their pathway to financial stability by 2025.  Lynda is excited to be part of this new mission and goal for our United Way.

“I love this new direction, and can’t wait to see how the program works out!”

Lynda Waldron is no stranger to the nonprofit world. We are thankful to have her on the United Way team and appreciate all of her efforts!
