Our History

Since 1965, United Way has been operating in the Albion and Homer community, working to help solve the communities' toughest challenges with a focus on health, education and financial stability.

In 2025, Albion-Homer United Way became a part of an impact-driven regional organization: United Way of South Central Michigan, formed in 2022 through a merger with United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region, Capital Area United Way, and United Way of Jackson County.

United Way of South Central Michigan will continue to serve Albion-Homer, with local donations going to serve local organizations making a difference in the Albion and Homer communities.
