ARP Seeding Health Grants - City of Battle Creek

In partnership with the City of Battle Creek, the United Way of South Central Michigan (UWSCMI) administered a portion ($500,000) of the City of Battle Creeks Federal American Rescue Plan (ARP) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. Funding began on Jan. 1, 2023.

Through this ARP Seeding Health- City of Battle Creek process, local nonprofit partners were invited to submit 3-year funding requests to support efforts to addresses the negative impacts of COVID-19 by creating or increasing equitable access to healthcare for nonprofit employees in the City of Battle Creek.

This opportunity was open to nonprofit organizations that are located in and/or employ a majority (more than 50%) of individuals who live in the City of Battle Creek. Additionally, priority was given to organizations that have experienced negative economic impacts of COVID-19.
