Our History

For nearly 90 years, United Way of Jackson County has been mobilizing people, organizations and funds to create a community rich in opportunities to eliminate poverty and allow all people to achieve financial stability and success.

Today, UWJC is part of an impact-driven regional organization: United Way of South Central Michigan, formed in 2022 through a merger with UWJC, United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region and Capital Area United Way.
