John George Home Craft Helpers Looking for craft volunteers to make some fun projects with our men. They would love to be taught how to make something to display in their room. Community Action Agency Volunteer Income Tax Assistance VITA The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $64,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English-speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with free electronic filing to qualified individuals. If tax preparation is not your thing, you can also volunteer to be a greeter or intake specialist. Regardless of how you spend your volunteer hours with VITA will be rewarding. So, if you are ready to help, put money back into the communities, you work and live come and join our volunteer team, you will love the experience.
