Meet Logan and Lindsey: Senior Associates of Donor Relations

Our Newest Sr. Associates, Major

United Way of South Central Michigan is thrilled to welcome Lindsey Buckallew (she/her) and Logan Doar (he/him/they) to the team! Both join us as Senior Associates of Donor Relations. In this position, Lindsey and Logan will focus their time on building and strengthening relationships with UWSCMI donors and the community.

Lindsey Buckallew (she/her) – Senior Associate, Donor Relations – Battle Creek/Kalamazoo

Lindsey brings a wealth of experience in relationship-building, outreach, and content development. Most recently, she served as an Engagement Specialist at TribalHub, where she led initiatives to enhance member engagement, curated digital content, and coordinated impactful virtual and in-person events. Prior to that, she spent a decade shaping young minds at The Gagie School and also served as an adjunct professor at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, where she mentored students and fostered inclusive learning environments.

Lindsey holds a degree in English – Creative Writing from Western Michigan University and brings a strong foundation in communication, digital platforms, and event planning.

Logan Doar (he/him/they) – Senior Associate, Donor Relations – Jackson/Lansing

Logan comes to us with leadership in grassroots organizing, voter engagement, and cross-sector program management. Most recently, Logan served as a Regional Organizer with The Washington Bus, where he mobilized volunteers, trained staff, and helped elect multiple candidates while advancing civic engagement across Washington state. Throughout his career, Logan has shown a strong commitment to systemic change through collaboration, relationship building, and data-driven strategies. His previous work includes consulting with tribal governments, advocating for victims of police violence, and serving in a variety of nonprofit, academic, and campaign settings.

Logan has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington, where he focused on public budgeting, environmental justice, and inclusive policy development. Additionally, a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Tennessee.
