WELCOME!

The 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge is a powerful opportunity for shared learning, action, and growth. Community members are invited to develop a deeper understanding of how inequity and racism affect our lives and our community.

ALICE and Black Households Data clearly illustrate the inequities that are deeply rooted in our national, state, and local systems and institutions. During the 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge, you will have a chance to examine the history and impacts of racism and how it shapes people’s lived experiences in communities across South Central Michigan.

The Challenge is simple: you commit to deepening your understanding of, and willingness to confront racism for 21 days. The Challenge will raise your awareness, change your understanding, and shift your perspective.

Each day's content includes an introduction on a particular topic, followed by several additional resources such as podcasts, articles, or videos. You choose which links you'd like to explore - aim for at least 10-15 minutes each day of learning or reflection.
