United Way of South Central Michigan is honored to begin providing administrative support for the 25‑Year Employees’ Fund, an independent charitable fund that supports former Kellogg Company, Kellanova and WK Kellogg Co employees with 25 or more years of service who face hardship in retirement, as well as their surviving spouses or dependents.
Founded in 1944 by W.K. Kellogg, the Fund focuses on helping people meet essential needs with dignity and stability during later stages of life.
While its administration is now embedded within United Way to help ensure continuity, consistency and long‑term support, the Fund remains a separate, independent 501(c)(3) organization with its own Board of Trustees.
This transition builds on a 100‑year‑plus relationship between United Way and legacy Kellogg organizations, and reflects a shared commitment to meeting basic needs and supporting people in our community. United Way is proud to help sustain this important work now and into the future.
