Kellogg’s Club Crackers fights hunger, promotes volunteerism

This season, Kellogg’s Club Crackers is partnering with United Way BCKR with a $25,000 donation and social media video promoting volunteerism.

The donation will go toward the distribution of 1.6 million servings of food to local families in an effort to fight food insecurity. In Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, 1 in 7 adults and 1 in 5 children struggles with hunger.

“We’re proud to support families facing hunger in our hometown community, said Jamie Oesch, Marketing Director at Kellogg Company. “We hope that this donation will help families focus on enjoying time together instead of where they will get their next meal.”

The video, filmed locally, encourages people to volunteer to support United Way as part of their holiday activities this year.

“Together, United Way and Kellogg Company are determined to make sure no one faces a day not knowing if they’ll have food to eat,” said Alyssa Stewart, Vice President of Impact & Engagement at United Way BCKR. “We’re grateful for Kellogg’s generosity and partnership in ensuring that families in our community have access to the food they need to be healthy.”
