IMPACT! Reconnecting with Family

Adults who require guardianship are still human beings who need to connect with family. Family Service & Children’s Aid, a United Way partner, recognizes the power of family. FSCA made this powerful reconnection possible:

“Sarah” has been living in Adult Foster Care Home for most of her adult life. At 42, she stated that she missed her family and would like to visit more with them. Through case coordination and family work, Sarah is now beginning to receive gifts and phone calls from family members. She is on track to begin visiting with them—and may soon be able to live with her sister.

A hopeful outcome for one person in our community. That’s the power of family—and the power of your support for United Way. Please be a partner in this important work.
