A message from our Chief Equity Officer

Blue background, white ltex
Jen Hsu-Bishop

Thank you to those who have joined us for the 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge. Over the next 21 days, you’ll join many colleagues, neighbors, friends, and family as we examine the history and impacts of racism in our community.

You’re taking the first step by signing up for this challenge, and now the real work begins. I invite you to be curious and take a deeep dive into this self-guided learning journey. How might you set your intentions today to engage with the materials? Are there others you want to invite on this journey to join you in reflection and discussion? What do you hope will be different in your life as you deepen your awareness and knowledge? Wherever we are in our paths, we all have more we can learn and more we can do to take action against racism. I look forward to learning along side you.

In partnership and action, Jen Hsu-Bishop

To Get Started

  1. Download our Challenge Activity Log to keep yourself accountable and our Group Discussion Guide to help you reflect and dialogue with others.
  2. Get familiar with the terminology we’ll be using during the Challenge. Check out Racial Equity Tools’ Glossary of Racial Equity Terms. The words and language we use hold meaning and help us engage in more inclusive and respectful dialogue.
