IMPACT! A Path Forward for Re-entering Citizens

Nation-Outside-768x651-1

We’re so proud to partner with the Jackson Chapter of Nation Outside, which helps formerly incarcerated citizens reconnect with life, employment and community. Here’s a hope-filled example of how partnership can give re-entering citizens a path forward:

During a trade Union event in Jackson, Nation Outside had the unique pleasure of meeting a union supervisor whose father has been incarcerated for more than 20 years. The union supervisor was so impressed to learn about Nation Outside that he agreed to work with the organization to provide jobs to people with criminal histories. He went on to meet with Michigan Department of Corrections’ Offender Success Program in an effort to provide employment to people on parole in the Jackson County area.

It’s crucial to connect re-entering citizens with the tools they need to rebuild their lives. We appreciate the work and partnership with Nation Outside. Your support makes it possible.
