For many people struggling financially, the pathway to a more stable life starts with learning how to manage what income they’re able to generate. Lily Missions Center provides financial management training through the support provide by United Way. Here’s an exciting success story that begins at the movies:

A mother attended Lily Missions Center’s outdoor movie event. She signed up for a six-week Financial Literacy course and was so impressed with the outcomes that she encouraged three other adults to attend the next session. All five of these individuals were able to pay off their debts. They continue to attend the weekly courses and spread the word of financial freedom.

Something as simple as a movie night set five local residents on a pathway to financial stability That’s the power of partnership and investment in our community. We value your support for the work of United Way.
