IMPACT! Personal Stories of Change

CCN-testimonials-768x644-1

We’re always excited to share these stories of IMPACT! every week, but do you know who tells the stories better than we ever could? The people whose lives are changed. Recently, our partners at Child Care Network did just that. They asked recipients of child care scholarships through the Family Support Program how their lives were transformed. Here’s what they said:

“The scholarship has taken some financial burden off my shoulders allowing me to use that money towards other bills.”

“Our (child) was able to go to a school we felt was much suited for his style of learning, more hands on. We were able to get out of debt with the money saved because we had the scholarship. That was our goal and the scholarship helped us achieve it.”

“It’s really helped my (child) and his social skills. (Child) does a lot better when he’s on a schedule and eating healthier. Three of my (children) will be able to find jobs now since they won’t have to watch (child). It causes less stress on me because I get calls from my kids all the time and I know (child) is safe and taken care of.”

“Helping me pay off a large balance due to falling behind as a single parent with after-school care.”

“Helped keep (child) in a care while I went to work, and I knew (child) was safe.”

“Helped with a large balance that accrued when my (partner) was forced to quit (their) job due to the children’s school being closed down due to COVID in 2020.”
